Well 2017 is almost over and it has been another exciting year for everyone at ICS, the past twelve months have seen the whole team undertake some very challenging projects on behalf of our customers often with a fast turnaround required to meet in some cases critical deadlines.
This simply wouldn’t have been possible without some great teamwork between our customers, our design and manufacturing teams and of course our suppliers because it never ceases to amaze me that however much stock we hold there is always something else that we still require urgently!
The scope of projects has varied enormously from a simple single Form 1 panel for a school boiler house through to multiple Form 4 Type 6 MCC’s for the London Crossrail project.
One thing that was also very apparent this year was the amount of full FAT tests that were undertaken, it didn’t seem that a week went by where we never had a customer and their clients in attendance. For some projects the in-depth extent of the tests required was really interesting not just from the physical wired tests but also the associated software validation.
2018 is looking like it will be another good year where hopefully we will have the opportunity for further growth, we’re already in discussions with new potential customers and we look forward to strengthening the relationships we have with our existing ones.
